The Important Thing is the Name of the Chocolate Stick Candy in the Anime (Pocky, Rocky, Packy?)
Introduction
Pocky is the most popular product of chocolate stick confectionery. It is sold by Ezaki Glico and is popular not only in Japan but also overseas. Because it is a very popular candy, it appears frequently in anime. However, most of the names are not Pocky but Rocky or Packy. The reason is simple because it has a trademark. This is because permission from Ezaki Glico is required to appear in the anime under the official name.
It is not economically or temporally reasonable for an anime production company to negotiate a trademark with a large company for a candy that appears only in a part of the daily scene. Also, in those few scenes, where the name of the candy becomes Rocky or Packy, there is no influence on the story itself. Therefore, when making it appear in anime, it is a very hard decision to use a name other than Pocky.
But I like Pocky. Therefore, I investigated chocolate stick confectionery that appeared in anime. The results of the survey are described below. Does anyone find it useful to read this article? Lol

Conclusion
Who will benefit from this survey? However, since I surveyed, I would like to summarize the results here. See the graph below. In conclusion, it turned out that “Rocky” is the most frequently used name in anime. The next most commonly used name is “PACKY”. Both are close to the official name “Pocky”.
There are two animations that use the official name “Pocky”: “Ga-Rei: Zero” and “Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai”. Both works contain fantasy elements. Therefore, both animations are working on creating works that emphasize reality. So they were also concerned with the name of chocolate stick candy. I will explain this in-depth later.
