Learn Japanese with Anime: “Shuffle!” (Intermediate Level)

Webmaster Review

84% Brilliant

At first glance, the first half seems to be a typical Harlem anime, but the first half is intended to introduce characters, so the interesting part of the story consists of 19 episodes in the middle and the latter half. Gradually darkness and seriousness become deeper. It's not a sweet triangle / square relationship. A character's personality collapses. The conclusion is not a love comet, but a pure love broken heart that involves past sins and atonements, but fantasy is involved and the storyline is difficult to read.
Although it is an old anime, all the characters are unique and cute, and the personality setting is also considered well. At the time, the world view is a rare world love comedy animation that was rare at the time. A must-see for learning the history of anime. The drawing is very stable, but the camera work has been devised more finely than that. The performance is very high although it is old. The background is also good, there is no sense of incongruity in drawing the everyday world and the different world. Great workmanship. Although it is old, its recognition is low, but the OP song is a masterpiece. I want you to watch this. Although the original is only gal game, there is a gal game-like sound, but the piano song in the latter half of the serious is high level. OP drawing, music, and production are outstanding, so don't shy away from old anime.

3. Intermediate can Learn Japanese with This Anime

In this anime world, there are ordinary gods and demons. However, there are surprisingly few fantasy terms. Basically, because of the story of the school romantic comedy, the terms that appear are very similar. The way each character speaks is fairly stable for fantasy, and there is no strange character. Although the Japanese level of this anime is advanced, it is not because there are many fantasy terms, but because there are many phrases and idioms peculiar to Japanese (of course there are many terms related to romance, but that is not bad as a material for learning. )
