This Slice of Life anime is characterized by character design. Personally, I don't like the character design, but I got used to it as soon as I started watching it. It is a piece to enjoy ordinary everyday life where nothing happens.

The story follows the school life of the three girls, Yuzuko, Yukari, and Yui, who join their high school’s Data Processing Club. The odd friendship between the three make for wacky humor in even the most mundane of events.
3. Character’s Way of Speaking
Nonohara Yuzuko says in a girly tone, “xxx だよ” and “xxx よね”. Basically, she speaks brightly and brightly. When apologizing, she sometimes says, “すんませんした”. To be precise, of course, one should say, “すみませんでした”. She sometimes acts playfully, but she is a good character for both listening and emulating Japanese.
Hinata Yukari talks in a girly tone like “xxx しよーっと” and “xxx だね”. She sometimes speaks in a relaxed manner with a long ending. There are many unmotivated lines such as “ねむーい, めんどーい” and (Meaning of sleepy and bothersome). She often makes spontaneous remarks at her own pace, but she sometimes makes sharp remarks. Listening her talking is a good way for real girls to learn Japanese.
Ichii Yui says in a girly tone: “xxx かなあ” and “xxx だよ”. She speaks more calmly than Yuzuko or Yukari, and gives us the impression that she is solid. She calls Yuzuko and Yukari “おまえ”. Generally, the word (We are close, but we don’t usually use it.) is a rough expression, so women should not use it, but if you are on very close terms, it is sometimes used “おまえ”. In Japanese language learning, understanding this sensitivity will greatly contribute to communication in Japan.
4. Terms and Talking Contents
The animation focuses on the loose conversation between high school girls. There is no conversation between male high school students because the stage is a girls’ high school. Everyday conversations such as “部活はどうしよっか―” “自由なとこがいいよねー” and “そうだなあ” appear in schools.
However, because they search for and talk to the words that are clearly defined in the activities of the club “information processing unit”, there is no sense of consistency in the terms and the conversation is rambling. Young people’s words such as “超絶” (ちょうぜつ, transcendence) and “オキニ” (おきに, favorite) slang, scientific and medical terms such as “黒点” (こくてん, sunspot) and “乳酸菌” (にゅうさんきん, lactic acid bacteria) religious terms such as “破魔矢” (はまや, Hamaya) and “十戒” (じゅっかい, Ten Commandments) and idioms such as “付け焼き刃” (つけやきば, temper blade) and “虫の知らせ” (むしのしらせ, an alarm) appear one after another.
5. Elementary can Learn Japanese with This Anime
80% of daily conversations are plain, but the difficult terms occurrence rate is not low: 4.7 terms/episode. This is because there are no words to be used in club activities. The conversation itself is simple, but terms in the conversation have a slightly higher difficulty level than High School. In general, the Japanese level of the Slice of Life genre animation is easy to understand and suitable for Beginner’s Japanese learners, but there are some works like this anime that are difficult to understand unless they are elementary or higher learners of Japanese. Be careful.
