This story is about Nadeshiko, a female high-school student who moves to Yamanashi prefecture from Shizuoka prefecture and Rin who likes camping alone. They are warming up by the bonfire at a campsite under the winter-like weather. The crackling sound of popping firewoods is going down into a silence of the lakeside. They are talking and eating curry ramen while they’re sitting around the bonfire. The moment they have been waiting will come in course of time. They said, “We could see Mt.Fuji.” This outdoor girl’s story starts with the meeting of Nadeshiko and Rin.

She is cool and likes camping alone. Therefore her tone is usually bland like “xxx だな” and “xxx かな”. On the other hand, she is very humorous, as far as we’ve listened to the conversations between Rin and Ena, who is Rin’s friend. She is an easy character for Japanese learners to train their listening part.

・Kagamihara Nadeshiko (各務原 なでしこ, かがみはら なでしこ)

Laid-Back Camp

She speaks in a natural tone like “xxx だよ” and “xxx なの”. She likes eating and talking about food happily once the topic changes. When they sit around the bonfire for the first time, she was saying “たーんとおあがり” (たくさんたべなさい, You should eat a lot) in a rural grandma tone. You might feel it difficult to understand since the way of speaking is changing, but I hope you can make use of practicing differentiate listening part.

・Saitou Ena (斉藤 恵那, さいとう えな)

Because the conversations between Ena and Rin are a real way of a female high-school student.

There are many terminologies about outdoor since this Anime is camp themed, however, you can understand fully even though you have no knowledge since it has enough explanation one by one in the story. When it comes to the outdoor work, you might imagine that this anime is enthusiastic, but actually not at all. The conversations between female high-school students who are enjoying the outdoor activity as a hobby are calming down to listen.
